GURGAON: He came, he saw and he fell in love. The Kingdom of Dreams Gurgaons answer to the international, Hollywood-inspired entertainment hubs has left even legendary real-estate magnate from Las Vegas, Stephen A. Wynn, spellbound.
Wynn, one of the worlds richest men, is credited for transforming Las Vegas into a world-class entertainment resort and convention destination.
He visited Kingdom of Dreams on Wednesday, and after strolling around the Culture Gully and watching live show Zangoora, he appeared more than excited about what he witnessed. Kingdom of Dreams is superb! It is a dream experience. The cost of coming here and having fun is just complete value for money, he exclaimed.
And if sources are to be believed, the Indian entertainment hub might soon make its presence felt in the US as well. He was smitten beyond words and has expressed his desire to take Zangoora to the US, revealed an insider. The people behind Kingdom of Dreams, too, are thrilled with Wynns visit. Viraf Sarkari, Director of Wizcraft International Entertainment, said, It was a great pleasure hosting Wynn. He was very pleased with the kind of ambience we have created. He was also shocked at the budget with which we have built this entertainment hub.
Sarkari, who has always been vocal about his plans to build a Kingdom of Dreams in Las Vegas, said his proposal drew an enthusiastic response from Wynn. We are planning to take Zangoora to Las Vegas soon, he said. When asked if Wynn showed any interest in converting Gurgaon into a Las Vegas type resort destination, Sarkari said, You never know. It will be a dream come true for Gurgaon if that happens.
However, with casinos banned in India, would recreating a Las Vegas here be possible? We will develop it into a live entertainment destination, Sarkari added.
After his visit, the legendary entertainment magnate was gifted a golden key to Kingdom of Dreams. It is a gesture of thanks from us to our treasured guests, to tell them that they now have a key to this place and can treat this as their own home, said Ayesha Dahra, Head, PR and Corporate Communications.
